What is the Role of The Attorney General in Fundraising?


Representatives from the Office of the Attorney General, Charities Unit, will provide a general overview of the Charities Unit’s responsibilities and the Attorney General’s jurisdiction. The panel will discuss the Attorney General’s interests with respect to the fundraising of charitable funds and his role in the probate process as well as the Attorney General’s perspective on the modification of donor intent and his available remedies for the misuse of charitable funds.
